The only parties that have access to this are the Marketing Department at BEAR, and the owners of the software. This software is compliant with all GDPR and legal requirements and we will only use it in that manner.

Where customers contact BEAR directly via email or contact form, your data will be deleted from responder’s mailbox but may remain in the archive of their mail system, dependent on the settings of the mail system they use. This data will not be used for anything other than for direct contact with you regarding the immediate conversation you choose to raise with BEAR.

The criteria used to determine the period of storage of personal data is the respective statutory retention period. After expiration of that period, the corresponding data is routinely deleted, in line with our internal retention policy.

We do not take or hold your credit or debit card details.

When you place an order or pay a deposit online with your credit or debit card, it is done using a secure connection to our payment provider. If you provide credit or debit card information to any of our stores over the phone, it will be keyed directly in to their card machine in order to complete the transaction - it will never be written down or stored elsewhere.

We strongly recommend that you do not email us with any credit card information, because most email is sent un-encrypted and so is not secure. All our customer data held online is encrypted and held in a secure environment.
