TiPi Test Kitchen at BEAR Uttoxeter

Say hello to TiPi, BEAR's shiny new Development Kitchen concept!

TiPi was born by Terran (our Head of Food) and Paul (our Group Head Chef) as a way for us to trial new delicious menu items focussed around reducing food waste, improving speed of service and increasing the quality of ingredients that we use. The menu at TiPi will change and develop based off first-hand, genuine customer feedback, which gives YOU the opportunity to have a real influence over what we do with our food menus as BEAR grows.

Expect twists on old BEAR favourites, as well as some new flavours, dishes and serves. Everything on our menu is freshly prepared each day for you to enjoy in-store with us or to quickly grab when you're on-the-go. Our dishes are updated often, so there will always be something new and exciting for you to try!

TiPi has recently completed a really successful stint at BEAR Uttoxeter and will now be taking a break whilst we review and apply everything we've learned.
Keep an ear to the ground, TiPi may pop up in a BEAR near you very soon!

Our brunch menu is kitchen led, focussed around efficient-to-prepare small plates with stacks of flavour. Lunch will be counter-driven; think filled croissants, vegan wraps and fresh, charcuterie-topped focaccia slices.

THE STORY

The two cheesy grins you can see in the photo to the right belong to Terran (right) and Paul (left); the "T" and "P" in TiPi. These two are the in-house food experts at BEAR - they come up with every dish on our menus and work closely with our chefs in-store to make sure every plate is top quality, super tasty and beautifully served.

After spending a lot of time hopping between our store kitchens, looking for gaps here and there to test out new dishes without disrupting service, Terran & Paul came up with the idea to trial a Test Kitchen concept. TiPi provides them with their own space to experiment with new dish ideas and serving concepts, and get valuable feedback and input from customers whilst they're at it!
