Sol Y Cafe, Peru (Decaf)
Our coffee is grown under bird-friendly shade trees at the Sol Y Cafe Co-operative (Cajamarca region) in the high jungle of Northern Peru. The sandy, quickly-draining earth requires the addition of organic materials to replenish and rebalance the soil.
Farmers in this region are dedicated to protecting their environment by using sustainable farming practices, as well as supporting the development of their local communities. 99.9% of the caffeine is removed using the 100% chemical-free Swiss Water Process.
