Our story
BEAR wasn't built in a day.
The story of BEAR starts with 2 best buds: Craig and Michael. The pair grew up together, copied each others work at school, and spent most of their teenage years trying to out-skill each other on their skateboards.
Fast forward to adulthood - Craig & Michael (and their shared obsession with coffee) got their heads together and opened their first coffee house, kitchen and bar space in their hometown of Uttoxeter in 2016.
Over the past 6 years, BEAR has grown to serve delicious brews, fresh brunch and hand-crafted cocktails in 5 locations across the midlands, and now in to homes across the UK.
We’ve put a lot in to learning what makes the perfect coffee, and now we’re eager to share it with you.
