If you read our last blog post (here >), you’ll already know that we were chosen as winners for Best Cafe at the Derby Food & Drink Awards on Monday 8th October (yay!), but to make our month even better, we were also shortlisted for 3 awards at the Burton Mail Business Awards too.
It was a posh do, with a 3 course meal plus cheese and biscuits for afterwards (which made Cookie verrrry happy), and we also did an alcoholic ice cream tasting session which was unusual but really yum.
We’d just finished our main course when they started to announce our second award category, Leisure & Hospitality Award… We were honestly not expecting it, but we’d managed to WIIIIN! The perfect way to round off a top couple of weeks worth of awards ceremonies.
